And I got the groceries. $85 for a week of groceries for four people AND a 24 pack of AA batteries, which we go through like water (Xbox controller, TV remote, toys, son’s new vibrating pillow that I’m totally going to borrow because it’s GREAT…).
Wheat pita with ham and spinach and ceasar vinaigrette for lunch, and yes, I did my P90X today—Yoga. I’m starting to feel more limber, but I’m telling you, my hamstrings are the tightest muscles in my body, apparently. Getting into the straight-legged, bent over positions is HARD.
Some cool things have happened since starting P90X, though. My husband (the most anti-morning person I’ve ever met except, maybe, my mother) watched me get up at 6:30 every day for 4 weeks and then decided that there must be something to it.
Not only has he been getting up with me and running while I’m doing my workout, he’s also starting a month of cardio—in the month leading up to his birthday, he’s going to do at least one cardio activity a day, 6 days a week. He’s only 30 pounds from his goal weight, so he’s right there. It’s pretty exciting.

That’s so exciting! I love when couples can work out together and motivate each other. It’s so important to have that support. :)
