I really don’t understand why people are constantly comparing Kung Fu Panda and Mists.
Okay, so they both have pandas. And… that’s it?
Seriously?
Pandas are not exclusive to Kung Fu Panda, and other mediums are allowed to use pandas even though KFP has recently made them famous. By that logic, we also cannot have:
-orcs, elves, and trolls - because they are also in Lord of the Rings
-dragons, because they are also in Eragon
-owls, because Hedwig is in Harry Potter (or hell, pick anything from HP)
My point is - who cares? Does the existence of one detract from the other? And if so, why? Why does it matter that two different things (a movie, a game) have pandas as their only commonality?
What everyone appears to be saying is that two things can’t exist in pop culture at the same time because your mind cannot compute it.
Seriously, stop.
Also, the Pandaren Brewmaster hero was in Frozen Throne expansion of Warcraft III. Which came out before Kung-Fu Panda did.
It’s not the fact they’re Pandas…it’s the fact they look a FUCK TON ALIKE. Otherwise, whatevs.

Its because, kong fu being done by a panda. And WOW used the same idea. . (though sure if the WOW panda used kong fu) Not saying that the movie had the idea of a animal using kong fu first.
Pandaren doing martial arts were introduced in THE FROZEN THRONE, YEARS BEFORE KUNG FU PANDA.
So if anything, Kung Fu Panda copied Warcraft.

Very quick Pandaren history lesson:
Samwise created the first Pandaren as a Christmas present.
It was liked so much, they decided to do it as an April Fool’s Joke (2002).
So many people were disappointed that it wasn’t real, the devs created the Stormstout character for the Frozen Throne (2003).
So Thrall randomly died during LFR the other day. xD No idea what happened.

All The Things!
Today is one of those days where I have a bajillion (only a slight exaggeration) things I need/want to do, and my mind is spinning with how to do it all. I’m determined to hit all of them, though. Here are ALL THE THINGS:
Housework. House is in a dreadful state after everyone was home and sick all weekend.
Uh, work work. I have two projects due by Friday, I’d honestly like to get them both done by tomorrow if I can swing it, but that might be pushing it.
Blogging. It’s Patch Day in World of Warcraft, and I can’t just not blog on patch day. Talk about breaking tradition.
Picture Perfect Azeroth. My side project related to my blog. The queue emptied over the weekend and I need to fill it back up.
Guild Wars 2. I didn’t play much while my husband was home because it’s his game. But I do want to play some more!
Patch Day! World of Warcraft launches 5.0 today, and I want to be in on that the minute it goes live, which basically means all of this other stuff has to be done before then.
Not to mention that I have babies to cuddle and talk to and help with homework and a husband who I want to cuddle and talk to and… :-P
So yes. Yes yes. All the things. And I feel like I’m missing something important, which is going to bug me a lot.

Random Friday
Because it isn’t alliteration and I’ve had a weird day. And I’m trying to figure out what I’m going to eat tonight to counteract the sabotage I acted upon today in a fit of frustration, boredom, and caffeine headache pain.

The Race
Dusty feet running, walking, dragging down a dirt road with no end. It makes me think maybe the world is flat and drops off in a hole filled with water a hundred feet deep, but we are not surprised to find it. We push down to the bottom with lungs that shouldn’t breathe but do and we claw upward through pounds of impossible pressure. We break the ceiling and grin and gasp and redefine life for the ones who have merely lived it.
